Turkish lentil soup.

Prepare the ingredients:

  • 1 cup well washed red lentils.
  • 1 in small pieces cut onion.
  • 1 tablespoon flour.
  • 1 in small pieces cut carrot.
  • 1/2 tablespoon with water diluted tomato or paprika paste.
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt.
  • 1/2 tablespoon black pepper.
  • 2 tablespoons oil.
  • 1 liter water.

Preparation:

Heat oil in a pot. Sauté onions. Add and stir the flour. Add paprika paste and stir. Add carrot, lentils and water. Cover the pot and cook until the carrot and lentils get soft. Chop the soup with a hand blender or food processor. Add black pepper and salt. Add a little water if the soup is too thick.

Tavuk Sote

Turkish chicken saute.

Prepare the ingredients:

  • 1/2 kg chicken breast cut into cubes.
  • 1 sliced onion.
  • 2 in small pieces cut tomatoes.
  • 2 sliced green, non-hot peppers.
  • 1 sliced cut red, non-hot peppers.
  • 1 tablespoon with water diluted tomato or paprika paste.
  • 2 cloves garlic fine cut.
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt.
  • 1/2 tablespoon black pepper.
  • 1/2 tablespoon red pepper flakes.
  • 1 cup water.

Preparation:

Sauté the chicken in a pot. Add onion and garlic. After 2 minutes add the peppers and sauté again. Add tomatoes, tomato or paprika paste, spices, salt and continue cooking. Finally, add 1 cup water, cover the pot and cook until meat is cooked.

Turkish spinach.

Prepare the ingredients:

  • 1 teacup olive oil.
  • 1/2 kg washed and small cut spinach leaves.
  • 1 in small pieces cut onion.
  • 1/2 tablespoon with water diluted paprika paste.
  • 1 handful rice.
  • 1 teaspoon salt.
  • Boiling water.
  • Joghurt.

Preparation:

Heat olive oil in a pot. Sauté onions. Add paprika paste and stir. Add spinach, stir and cover the pot. Add enough water until it is close to the surface. Add rice and salt. Cook until rice is done. Serve with yogurt on top.

Turkish scrambled eggs with vegetables.

Prepare the ingredients:

  • 3/4 teacup olive oil.
  • 2 in small pieces cut green, non-hot peppers.
  • 1 teaspoon red paprika powder.
  • 2 teaspoons salt.
  • 2 in small pieces cut tomatoes.
  • 2 eggs.

Preparation:

Heat olive oil in a pan. Sauté peppers. Mix salt and paprika powder. Add tomatoes and eggs. Cook and stir until the eggs are done.

Lasagne

Italian layered pasta.

Prepare the ingredients:

  • 200 gr minced.
  • 1 diced onion.
  • 1 package fix for lasagne.
  • 2 packages sliced mozzarella.
  • 2 packages cream.
  • 2 packages cream freche.
  • 1 pack tomato puree.
  • Grated cheese (mozzarella or gouda).
  • Sunflower oil.
  • Lasagne sheets.

Preparation:

Prepare Dark Sauce

Heat the sunflower oil in the pan. Then cook the onions. Mix the minced and fry. Mix water, tomato puree and fix for lasagne. Cook a 1/2 hour and season as desired.

Prepare Light Sauce

Mix cream and creme freche and season as desired.

Combine

Build layers with lasagne sheets and souces. Use the souces alternately. Add mozzarella to the light souce. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top. Bake it in the oven at 170 degrees one hour. Check with a knife if it is ready. It must be mellow.

Turkish meatballs.

Prepare the ingredients:

  • 250 gr minced.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika powder.
  • 1 teaspoon salt.
  • 2 tablespoons ground dry bread (or bread crumbs).
  • 1 diced onion.
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower oil.

Preparation:

Knead the ingredients well and shape desired pieces. Fry the meatballs either on the grill or in pan without oil. Rotate them constantly.

Turkish leek.

Prepare the ingredients:

  • 1 diced onion.
  • 1/2 tablespoon with water diluted paprika paste.
  • 3 washed and into 2 cm pieces sliced leeks.
  • 1/2 teacup rice.
  • 3/4 teacup olive oil.
  • 2 teaspoons salt.
  • Boiling water.

Preparation:

Heat olive oil in a pot. Sauté the onions. Add paprika paste and stir. Mix the leeks and cover the pot. Heat and touch once in a while the leeks until they are slightly yellowish. Mix rice and salt. Boil water along the way. Add enough water until it is close to the surface. Stir from time to time.

Kuru Fasulye

Turkish white beans.

Prepare the ingredients:

  • 500 gr white beans.
  • 4 tablespoon sunflower oil.
  • 4 tablespoon margarine.
  • 2 diced onion.
  • 1/2 tablespoon with water diluted paprika paste.
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt.
  • Boiling water.

Preparation:

Wash the beans three times a night before and let them rest for one night in warm water. Wash again next day and cook them in a pot with water that rises 2 fingers over the surface. Heat oil and margarine in a pan. Sauté the onions. Mix paprika paste and salt. Now stir the contents of the pan into the pot. Cook until the water reaches the surface. Add a little boiling water if the beans need more cooking.

Taze Fasulye

Turkish string beans.

Prepare the ingredients:

  • 2 diced onions.
  • 2 in small pieces cut tomatoes.
  • 2 in small pieces cut green, non-hot peppers.
  • 1/2 tablespoon with water diluted paprika paste.
  • 1 kg fresh, washed, and in small pieces cut green beans.
  • 3/4 teacup olive oil.
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt.
  • Boiling water.

Preparation:

Heat olive oil in a pot. Sauté peppers and onions. Add paprika paste and stir. Add beans, salt, and tomato. Stir, cover the pot, and touch once in a while until the beans are slightly yellowish (about 20-30 min.). Regulate to low heat. Boil water along the way. Add enough water until it is close to the surface. Cook about one hour.

Taze Fasulye
